BUAV Primateshand in a 163,000 signature petition at Downing Street in August 2005 calling for a total ban on primate testing in the UK. ©BUAVWe currently have a real opportunity to get a ban on all primate experiments across Europe – but we need your help.

The European Commission (EC) is currently reviewing the law that governs all animal experiments in Europe. We are pushing hard for a ban on primate testing to be included within the revised law*. But to do this we need to show the Commission the strength of feeling that exists against primate tests.

Please send an email to the European Commission, using the form below, and ask them to ban primate tests. It will take you just a few seconds but will help hugely in putting pressure on the EC to ban these deeply immoral and scientifically flawed experiments.

We have included some text for you to use in your email. If you have time to add your own message then please do so, as a personalised email has more impact than a standard one.

* A ban on primate experiments is just one of the ECEAE’s demands from the revised law. Click here for more information.
