Current Campaigns

The ECEAE has been working to end animal experiments in Europe since 1990. This is a big task — at least 10,000 primates are used in EU laboratories each year, in addition to more than 6,000 other animals who are used for cosmetics and household products tests alone every year.

The Coalition pulls together extensive expertise, experience and knowledge from animal protection organisations across Europe to campaign for an end to the suffering of these animals. Through lobbying, public education, promoting corporate social responsibility, raising media awareness, events and demonstrations, we achieve positive results for laboratory animals.
